What would a wise man
or woman do here?
Practical philosophy is everyday wisdom for living life more fully and happily. It’s finding time and space to consider the big questions of life such as ‘who am I?’ And it’s discovering simple ways to develop greater stillness and clarity.
Join us in St Albans for a course of ten evening sessions in timeless, practical wisdom. And find the wise man or woman within yourself.
The School of Economic Science has been running Practical Philosophy courses in Hertfordshire for over thirty years. During this time, hundreds of students from across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and beyond have enjoyed and benefited from these classes. Now you can too!
We currently have around fifty students enrolled, studying Practical Philosophy in five different levels. These classes meet on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
